William J. “Jay” Degenhart
Jay Degenhart is an associate concentrating his trial practice in complex civil litigation, class action lawsuits, and business disputes. Jay served as co-counsel in a recent case earning a verdict over $4 million.
Before entering law school, the Savannah native spent several years handing commercial real estate transactions in Los Angeles, California.
Jay graduated with a B.A. in history and a B.S. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jay was a member of the NCAA Division I varsity golf team.
Licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida, he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
While in law school, Jay clerked for Florida First District Court of Appeal Judge Lori S. Rowe.
