A Ware County jury awarded $1.4 million to an EMS worker who was en route to a hospital, when another a driver spilled coffee on himself and rear-ended the ambulance.
In Allana Taylor v. Johnathan Hall, the jury found Hall negligent for not maintaining his focus on the road, as he was distracted by his cup of spilled coffee, causing the crash that injured Ms. Taylor in February 2022.
Taylor sustained injuries as a result of the crash, creating nearly $43,000 in medical bills
and lost wages.
After a two-day jury trial, jurors found Johnathan Hall 100% at fault in the crash, awarding the full $1.4 million to the plaintiff. State Farm, Mr. Hall’s insurance provider, offered only $24,600 during trial to our client.
Attorneys for the plaintiff are Brent J. Savage, Sr. and Matthew Bradley
