Tania D. Groover, Esq.

Tania Groover is a partner of the firm with over twenty years of significant trial and litigation experience. Her practice focuses on complex business litigation, the False Claims Act, whistleblower litigation, serious personal injury cases, catastrophic events, and wrongful deaths. Tania has a wealth of experience prosecuting complex cases that spanned the United States and foreign countries. Prior to joining the firm, Tania served as a federal prosecutor and was the Chief of the Criminal Division for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Georgia. Tania successfully litigated cases involving the use of a weapon of mass destruction, million-dollar tax fraud schemes, complex securities and banking fraud schemes, organized crime and racketeering, civil rights, national security, and corporate fraud. As Criminal Chief, Tania supervised and managed every criminal investigation and prosecution in the Southern District of Georgia. Tania was a leading expert in the Department of Justice and called upon regularly to advise federal prosecutors throughout the United States on the most difficult issues in the country. Tania was selected to serve as the Eleventh Circuit representative for the Department of Justice’s Criminal Chief’s Working Group based on her experience and expertise. Tania was presented with extensive honors and awards from every federal criminal agency in recognition of her excellent service and aggressive pursuit of justice. Tania began her career in 2003 at Triplett Woolf Garretson, LLC, a full-service civil law firm in Wichita, Kansas specializing in both defensive and affirmative complex civil and business litigation.
