Firm Secures $4.48M Medical Malpractice Verdict
A jury in Savannah awarded $4.475 million to a widow whose husband died in a Reidsville hospital the night after spinal fusion surgery.
The result garnered front-page headlines in the state’s leading daily legal publication, the Daily Report.
“The jury was only out two hours and 20 minutes,” said one of the winning lawyers, Bart Turner. “The defense thought they’d won.”
Bart Turner tried the case with Jay Degenhart, both of Savage, Turner, Pinckney, Savage, & Sprouse, and Frank Cardillo of Cardillo & Stincer.
