In July 2021, a Liberty County jury returned a verdict of $66.5 million to the mother of Albert “Spud” Dock. Spud was a promising Liberty County High School basketball player that was killed in January 2019 by a drunk driver. The drunk driver had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit. Spud was a passenger in the car, and the drunk driver hit the car from behind going 124 miles per hour. Tamara Dock was represented by Brent J. Savage, Kathryn Pinckney, and Jim Wilson.
